The Belleville Police Service continue to investigate the fire, which occurred on the 27th of July 2019 at a residential address on Dundas Street East Belleville.
As a result of this fire, Damon Jewett, 35 years old of Belleville, was transported to the Belleville General Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Members of the Belleville Police Service Criminal Investigative Division and Forensic Identification Unit are continuing this investigation in partnership with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office.
