Strategic Safety Plan Survey
The Belleville Police Service is undertaking the development of its Strategic Safety Plan for the next three years. The Belleville Police Service is seeking the community’s input as this is a collaborative effort. The information gathered will help guide the objectives of the Belleville Police Service over that time frame. We have created a public survey to provide a platform for public input. Stolen Trailer
The Belleville Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a theft. On the 31st of January, 2022 at 9:20 am, the Belleville Police Service were called to a construction site at the corner of Farley Avenue and Station Street in Belleville, Ontario. Belleville Police were informed that sometime between the 30th of January, 2022 and the 31st of January, 2022, a Black Canada-made gooseneck trailer and a black, Caterpillar power rake tool were stolen. Sgt. Lentini PSA Hearing
Please be advised that on October 23rd and 24th of 2021 a Police Services Act hearing concerning the conduct of Sgt. Brad Lentini was held at the headquarters of the Belleville Police Service. The Service initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding an incident which had occurred in the cell block of the police facility on August 6th, 2019. As a result of that investigation, Sgt. Lentini was charged with one count of Discreditable Conduct – Neglect of Duty for failing to ensure that an injured prisoner under his care received prompt medical treatment in keeping with the
