20 June 2024 Erratic driving leads to three-day licence suspension On the 20th of June at 2:00am, Belleville Police observed a vehicle on North Front Street which was driving erratically.  Police stopped the vehicle and spoke to the driver.  The driver was observed to be exhibiting signs of impairment.  Police continued the investigation by means of a Standard Field Sobriety Test.  At the conclusion of the investigation, a 53-year-old female from Belleville had her driver’s licence suspended for three days and her vehicle was towed.    Break and Enter On the 19th of June at 9:09am,

June 19, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 79 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on June 18, 2024 to 5:00 am on June 19, 2024.   Break, Enter and Theft On the 18th of June at 10:08am, Belleville Police attended an address on Hwy #37 regarding a break and enter into a business.  Upon arrival, officers learned that sometime overnight, unknown suspects broke into the business and stole a quantity of alcohol.  Police are continuing the investigation.   Anyone with information regarding this break, enter and theft is asked to contact

June 18, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 81 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on June 17, 2024 to 5:00 am on June 18, 2024.   Shoplifting leads to arrest On the 17th of June at 7:24pm, Belleville Police responded to a business on Bell Blvd regarding a shoplifting incident.  The store Loss Prevention officer had arrested the female suspect for theft.  When police arrived, they learned that the female was wanted on two unendorsed arrest warrants for charges of failing to appear in court, possession of a controlled substance for the

June 17, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 216 calls for service between 5:00 am on June 14, 2024 to 5:00 am on June 17, 2024.   Utter threats to cause bodily harm and causing a disturbance in public On the 14th of June at 8:10am, Belleville Police attended a residence in the city’s west end regarding a neighbour dispute.  Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who advised that their neighbour had been yelling and screaming at them for no apparent reason.  Officers then attended the suspect’s address to continue their investigation.  Police learned
