On the 17th of July at 7:36pm, Belleville Police and Belleville Fire responded to a multi-unit residence on Coleman St. where the upper unit was fully engulfed in fire. Assault and Uttering Threats
On the 16th of July at 6:01pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end after receiving information that an adult female was fearful of her husband and afraid to leave the residence. Upon their arrival, police ensured the female’s safe removal from the residence. During the ensuing police investigation, police learned that the male suspect had assaulted the female and threatened to kill her. On the 15th of July at 7:15pm, three persons entered a business on Bell Blvd looking to purchase alcohol. The store employee refused service to all three as they were intoxicated. On the 12th of July at 8:25am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end regarding an unwanted person. Upon arrival, police spoke to the involved parties and learned that the unwanted male party had attended the address in an attempt to speak with a former female partner.
