June 01, 2023 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 113 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on May 31, 2023 to 5:00 am on June 01, 2023.   Mischief On 31 May 2023 at 9:30 am police received a call regarding a mischief at a business On College St East.  It was reported that a male had smashed out the windows of a vehicle that was parked on the property. The male fled the scene when he was observed by employees but was located a short time later by police. He was arrested and charged with mischief.  The 32-year-old male of no fixed address was

May 31, 2023 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 103 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on May 30, 2023 to 5:00 am on May 31, 2023.   Vehicle Struck Cyclist – Fail to Remain On the 30th of May 2023 at approximately 5:45 p.m. police responded to the area of Station Street and Church Street regarding a grey GMC Sierra which had struck a male cyclist within the intersection and then fled the scene. May 30, 2023 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 104 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on May 29, 2023 to 5:00 am on May 30, 2023.   Public Intoxication - Liquor License Act On the 29th of May, 2023 at approximately 11:40 p.m., a Belleville Police Officer while on patrol observed a male passed out on the sidewalk in the city’s east end. When the officer approached the male, he woke up but was heavily intoxicated due to having consumed a multitude of alcoholic beverages. May 29, 2023 Impaired driving / Over 80 On the 28th of May 2023 at 2:46 pm a female attended the front counter at the Belleville Police Service to report a fraud.  The female advised that an intoxicated male approached her in the parking lot of a local business and attempted to defraud her of $500.  Officers attended the business and observed the suspect in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.  Officers spoke to the male and detected an odor of alcohol on his breath.  Police continued their investigation which resulted in the male being arrested for impaired driving.  Robert TRAINOR, 45 years old of
