June 28, 2022 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 80 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 27th of June, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 28th of June, 2022.  Breach of Release order / Breach of Probation On the 28th of June, 2022, at approximately 1:51 am, Belleville Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the east end of the city.  During the traffic stop, officers located a 32-year-old male who was on a release order to remain in his residence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The male was also on two probation orders to not be around a female in

June 27, 2022 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 211 calls for service over a 72-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 24th of June, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 27th of June, 2022. Domestic Assault  On the 24th of June, 2022, at 9:23 pm Belleville Police were called to the east end of Belleville for the report of a physical altercation between two parties.  As a result of an investigation into the altercation, a 24-year-old Belleville, Ontario, woman was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault.  The woman was later released with a court date in August. June 23, 2022 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 97 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 22nd of June, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 23rd of June, 2022.  Fraud On the 21st of June 2022 at 4:48 pm, Belleville Police attended an address in the east end in regards to a fraud. An unidentified person contacted an elderly citizen and advised them that they were a lawyer. They further said their grandson had been arrested and needed 8000.00 dollars to bail him out.
