Belleville Police Service moving to paperless Criminal Record Check application process

As of Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, the Belleville Police Service is migrating to a paperless online Criminal Record Check system. We will no longer be accepting paper record checks at the Station. Residents of Belleville will be able to apply for a variety of record checking services. This new process is quick, easy, and secure, and will allow those living in Belleville’s jurisdiction to submit requests for police record checks through an online portal: https://secure.tritoncanada.ca/v/public/landing/BellevillePoliceService/home

Moving police record checks online allows the Belleville Police Service to efficiently and effectively meet the needs of our community.

Individuals who do not have access to a phone or computer can complete the online application at the kiosks available at the Station.

Through this service, members of the public will be able to apply for the following:

  • Criminal Record Check (CRC)
  • Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Payment for these services will be collected electronically as part of the online application process, with results delivered directly to the applicant through a secure portal link.

While the new service streamlines the process for requesting record checks, the fees for these record checks have not changed.

Those fees are:
