Possession of Firearm
On June 25, 2026, at 5:57 p.m., Belleville Police responded to the city’s east end regarding a report of a person in possession of a firearm.
Upon arrival, officers investigated the report and reviewed video footage from earlier in the day, observing a male suspect holding a firearm.
As a result, a 32-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was located, arrested and charged with:
- Possession of Firearm contrary to Prohibition Order X2
- Fail to comply with a probation order x2
He was held for a bail hearing.
