Fail to Comply
On September 7, 2026, at 5:04 p.m., Belleville Police responded to the area of North Front Street regarding a domestic dispute. Witnesses reported observing a male and female engaged in a verbal dispute inside a vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle and spoke with both parties. Through the investigation, it was learned that the male was bound by conditions prohibiting communication with the female.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with:
- Failure to comply with a release order
He was held for a bail hearing.
Fail to Comply
On September 7, 2026, at 10:50 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a call for service in the city’s east end. It was reported that a female had left her residence and refused to return despite being bound by conditions, including a requirement to follow the residence rules.
Officers attended the area and spoke with the female.
As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with:
- Fail to comply with probation order X4
- Failure to comply with undertaking X3
- Failure to comply with release order
She was held for a bail hearing.
Assault
On September 6, 2026, at 7:54 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a family dispute.
It was reported that a verbal dispute between a mother and son escalated into a physical altercation, during which the male assaulted his mother. During the incident, the male also damaged his mother’s property, including smashing her cellphone.
As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
- Mischief under $5000 X2
He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in December.
Warrant
On September 6, 2026, at 4:23 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a report of an unknown male in a backyard in the city’s west end.
Upon arrival, officers located the male sitting in the backyard and spoke with him. Upon investigation, it was learned that the male had an outstanding Belleville Police Service arrest warrant for assault.
As a result of the investigation, Bret Hill, a 28-year-old Trenton man, was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in November.
Impaired Driver
On September 6, 2026, at 1:35 a.m., Belleville Police conducted a traffic stop in the city’s east end.
Officers spoke with the male driver and observed signs of impairment.
As a result of the investigation, Dwane Prisque, 33-year-old Belleville man, was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg.
He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in October.
Impaired Driver
On September 5, 2026, at 2:11 a.m., Belleville Police conducted a traffic stop in the city’s east end. Officers spoke with the male driver and observed signs of impairment
As a result of the investigation, Nathan MacDonald, 26-year-old Belleville man, was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Failure of refusal to comply with a demand
He was released on an undertaking with a court date in October.
