Motor Vehicle Collision with Injuries
Belleville, ON – September 26th, 2020 – 7:15 p.m.
Belleville police responded to reports of a two-motor vehicle collision on Bell Blvd with reports of injuries. When police arrived on scene they found one driver lying on the roadway. City EMS crews arrived on scene & treated the injured party on location.
Both vehicles sustained considerable damaged and had to be removed from the scene via recover tow.
A 21-year-old Belleville woman was charged with one count of Failed to Yield from a Private Drive under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.
Breach of Court Order
Belleville, ON – September 27th, 2020 – 2:40 a.m.
City Police attended a domestic dispute at a south end apartment building. During the investigation, officers learned that a youth female party was inside the residence which was a breach of her court order. Officers found that the youth was under 24-hour house arrest which was located at a different residence under the care of her parents. The youth was also in breach of a number of different conditions listed on her recognizance.
A 16-year-old Belleville Female youth was charged with 5 counts of Breaching a Court Order. The youth is schedule to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on October 13th, 2020 to answer to her charges. She was released into the custody of her parents.
