Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 84 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 6th of October, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 7th of October, 2022.

An intoxicated male attends the Police Station

Belleville, ON – On the 6th of October 2022 at 9:3pm, police located a very intoxicated 26-year-old Belleville resident at the front entrance of the station. The male was lodged in the cells overnight and released once sober with a ticket for being intoxicated in a public place.

Arrest on Warrants

Belleville, ON – On the 7th of October at approximately 12:45 am, police were called to a residential building in the west end of Belleville for a report of a male sleeping in a hallway. The male was located by police. It was confirmed he was not a resident of the building. Police further determined the male had an outstanding warrant. 52-year-old Belleville resident, Terry Cheverie, was arrested and was remanded into custody at a bail hearing today.
