Arrest on Warrants and Assault with a Weapon
Belleville, ON. - On the 13th of October 2021 at 8:15 p.m. Police responded to a residence in the area of Ann Street regarding an assault. Police attended the residence and conducted an investigation that revealed a male was assaulted by a 43-year-old Belleville female. Further investigation revealed that the female was wanted on several outstanding warrants. Subsequently, the 43-year-old female was arrested on outstanding Warrants and for Assault with a Weapon. She was transported to the Belleville Police Service where she is being held for bail.
Arrest on Fail to Comply with Release Order
Belleville, ON. – On the 14th of October 2021 at 1:20 a.m. Police responded to the area of Hickory Grove regarding an ambulance assist call. On arrival, Police conducted an investigation that revealed one of the involved parties, a 23-year-old Belleville male, was breaching his release conditions. The male was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for bail.
City Police also report a fairly steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on October 14th 2021. Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance.
