Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 69 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 12th of October, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 13th of October, 2022.

Weapons

On the 12th of October 2022 at 7:30 pm, Belleville Police received a call about a male threatening people in the Tripp and Elgin Street Belleville, Ontario area. Police arrived and located a 39-year-old Belleville, Ontario resident. Investigation into the incident revealed that the male had threatened several individuals with a knife. As a result, the accused was charged with Weapons dangerous and Uttering threats. The male was held for a bail hearing on the 13th of October, 2022.

Arrest on Warrant

On 13 Oct 2022 at 12:30 am, police were called to an unwanted person at a business on Dundas Street East Belleville, Ontario. A record check revealed that Belleville Police wanted the person for the following:

  1. Two counts of Fail to comply with a probation order
  2. Fail to appear for fingerprints
  3. Fail to appear in court
  4. Mischief.

As a result, 46-year-old mark Ferguson of no fixed address, was arrested and held for a bail hearing on the 13th of October, 2022.
