The Belleville Police responded to 72  calls for service between 5:00 a.m. 30 Sept 2021 and 5:00 a.m. 01 Oct 2021.

Mischief

Belleville ON, On 30 Sept 2021 at 8:36 a.m. police attended a business on North Front St. in regards to a mischief.  Upon police arrival the complainant indicated that somebody had smashed their window overnight. There were no suspects.

Theft

Belleville ON, On 30 Sept 2021 at 9:43 a.m. police attended an address on Black Diamond Rd. in regards to a theft. Police received information that the victim had left their wallet in their unlocked car. Unknown suspects entered the vehicle and stole their wallet. It contained some cash and a number of credit cards. There were no suspects.

Theft

Belleville ON, On 21 Sept 2021 at 12:36 p.m. police attended a home on Moira St West. Police received information that at approx. 6:57 am a black 27-inch Supercycle bicycle was stolen from the premises. There were no suspects.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville ON, On 01 Oct 2021 at 2:00 a.m. police attended on Finch Ave. in regards to a car running into a house. They received information that a lone person had exited the vehicle and ran away, Further information received revealed that the suspect may have got into a dark coloured vehicle in the area of Tracy and North Front St. The accident may have been a result of an altercation at a North Front St bar. The suspects chased each other down North Front St and then onto Tracy St. Reckless driving may have caused one of the vehicles to lose control and hit the house. Police are asking that if anybody has any information to contact the Belleville Police and to leave a message for P.C Stein. There did not appear to be any injuries, and there was substantial damage to the house.
