Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, ON – November 29th, 2020

Belleville Police and EMS attended a collision in the City’s east end near Herchimer Ave. around 1:00pm.  Two vehicles were involved in the collision which sent one of the drivers to BGH with minor injuries.  As a result of the investigation, one of the drivers was charged with failing to yield from a private drive.  Both involved vehicles were towed from the scene.  Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service at 613-966-0882.   

Belleville, ON – November 30th, 2020

At approximately 3:00am, Belleville Police Officers on patrol in the City’s east end came across a single motor vehicle collision on Dundas St. near Charles.  Only minor injuries were reported. Belleville Fire and EMS attended and treated the driver at the scene.  As a result of the investigation, the driver of the vehicle was charged with two Highway Traffic Act offences, careless driving and having an expired validation sticker.  The vehicle had to be towed from the scene. 

Arrest on Warrant

Belleville, ON – November 29th, 2020

Members of the Belleville Police were on patrol in the City’s west end, shortly before 8:00pm, when they observed a female party known to be wanted on an outstanding committal warrant for three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.  As a result, a 36-year-old Belleville woman was taken into custody and will be held in police custody pending a Show-Cause Hearing, scheduled for the 30th of November 2020.
