Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 73 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 15th of November, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 16th of November, 2022.

Front lobby closed to the public

The Belleville Police Service would like to make the public aware that the Front lobby will be closed to the public for repairs for a 24-hour period beginning today at 9:00 am until regular business hours at 8:00 am tomorrow.

Theft of Mail

On the 23rd of November, 2022, at 8:32 am, Belleville Police took a report of a theft of mail from a South Front Street Belleville, Ontario address. The complainant had a video of a male sleeping in the lobby of the building, and he eventually broke into several of the mailboxes. The male was identified as 31-year-old Dillon Kerr of Belleville, Ontario. Kerr was later arrested for:

  1. Two counts of Mischief
  2. Two counts of Fail to comply with a probation order
  3. Theft of mail

Kerr was later released with a court date of the 29th of December, 2022.
