Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 88 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 25th of May, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 26th of May, 2022.

Motor Vehicle Collision

On the 25th of May 2022, at 9:20 p.m. Belleville Police responded to the area of Pinnacle Street and Campbell Street, Belleville, Ontario, regarding a two-vehicle collision. There were no injuries reported, and both vehicles sustained significant damage. The at-fault driver was charged with Fail to Yield to Traffic on a Through Highway under the Highway Traffic Act.

City Police also report a steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on May 26th, 2022.  Belleville Police responded to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance. Further, several minor Motor Vehicle Collisions were referred to the Bellville Police Service Collision Reporting Center.
