Public Intoxication
Belleville, ON – On the 1st of May shortly after 5:00 a.m. police observed a highly intoxicated 61-year-old Prince Edward County male in the vicinity of downtown. After attempts to find him a place to stay went in vain he was arrested for public intoxication for his own safety and taken to The Belleville Police Service where stayed until sober and released on a provincial offence notice.
Belleville, ON – On the 1st of May at approximately 5:45 p.m. police were called to the area of Mount Pleasant and Great St. James for a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Police located the male a short distance away who was openly drinking alcohol. The male refused to identify himself and was subsequently arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and refusing to identify himself. The 48-year-old male Quinte West male was taken to the Belleville Police Service where he spent the night and was released on a provincial offence notice in the morning.
