Mischief/ Assault
Belleville ON- On 22 March 2021, at 4:40 p.m., police were called to an East end group home regarding an out of control female. Police were told that the female had broken a window and assaulted staff members in the residence. The 21-year-old female was arrested and charged with assault, mischief, and failing to comply with a release order. She was later released and will appear in court on 22 April 2021.
Motor Vehicle Collision
Belleville ON- On 22 March 2021, at 7:50 p.m., police attended at 150 Sidney Street with regard to a motor vehicle collision. A vehicle was travelling North on Sidney St and went through a red light at the south entrance of 150 Sidney St. Another vehicle exited the driveway of a plaza on the east side of Sidney Street and was struck by the northbound vehicle. The northbound vehicle proceeded in a westerly direction, over a sidewalk, into the parking lot, striking two other parked vehicles. There were no serious injuries. A 72-year-old Belleville resident was charged with failing to stop at a red light.
