Looking to Identify Thieves

Belleville, ON – With the warmer weather approaching, the Belleville Police Service has observed an increase in thefts from motor vehicles.  On April 18th 2021, a victim of one of these thefts was able to capture the two male suspects (photographed) from his residential security cameras.  The motor vehicle in this case, located in the north-west area of the city, was left unlocked accidentally.  A small quantity of property was stolen.  Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying either of the involved males.  Anyone who may have information about this or any other similar thefts is asked to please contact investigating officer Sgt. Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, ON – On the 4th of June at 8:41am Belleville Police responded with paramedics and firefighters to a 3 vehicle crash on Wallbridge Loyalist Road, south of Loyalist College.  A northbound sedan crossed into the southbound lane and struck a SUV and a motorcycle.  The rider of the motorcycle, a 54 yr old male from Wooler, ONT was transported to Belleville General Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.  The driver of the northbound vehicle, 31 yr old Alyshia MOWAT-O’BRIEN of Belleville is charged with:

The name of the driver will be released once all next of kin have been notified and consent has been grated by the family.
