Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 80 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 1^st of June, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 2^nd of June, 2022.

Mischief

On June 1^st, 2022, at 6:30am, Belleville Police responded to a North Front Street business regarding a disturbance between two individuals which resulted in damage to the business window.  The investigation revealed enough grounds to arrest and charge 38-year-old Ian Frappier of Belleville with Mischief.  Mr. Frappier was later released on his own recognizance and will appear in court on June 30^th, 2022, to answer to one count of Mischief Under $5000. 

Drug Charges

On June 1^st, 2022, at 3:30pm, members of the joint Project Renewal Drug Enforcement Team stopped a vehicle in the region in relation to an ongoing investigation.  That vehicle stop lead to the arrest of 33 year old female from Sudbury for the following criminal charges:

1. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
2. Possession of Proceeds of Crime
3. Obstruct a Peace Officer
4. Fail to Comply with a Court Probation Order
5. Fail to Comply with a Court Release Order
6. Personation with Intent

The female accused was held at the Belleville Police Service and will appear in court today for a Show Cause Hearing.
