The Belleville Police Service responded to 71 calls from the 7th of July 2021 at 5:00 a.m. until the 8th of July 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville ON- Officers investigated 6 crashes in the last 24hrs.  Most were property damage only.  In one collision, minor injuries were reported.  Crashes occurred:

College Street East

Catherine Street

North Front Street (2)

Bell Boulevard

Sidney Street

Theft from Business Patios

Belleville ON- On 8 July 2021, at about 1:30 a.m., police were called to Bell Blvd on the report of a male stealing outdoor speakers from patios.  The suspect fled the area before officers arrived.  The investigation revealed that two different restaurants had speakers stolen.  This follows a theft investigation earlier this week where a television was stolen from an outdoor dining area on Bell Blvd.  Anyone who has information about these thefts is encouraged to call Belleville Police or Crime Stoppers.

Liquor Licence Act

Belleville ON- On 8 July 2021, at about 2:45 a.m., police were called to a residential building on Pinnacle St where it was reported a female was intoxicated and causing a disturbance.  Officers located a 21yr old Belleville women near the building and arrested her as she was completely out of control.  She was transported to the Belleville Police Service and lodged in cells.
