Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 84 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 27th of July, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 28th of July, 2022.

Arrested on Warrants

On the 27th of July 2022 at 8:15 p.m. Belleville Police Uniform patrol, observed a male known to be wanted on outstanding warrants for three counts of Fail to comply with Probation Order and one count of Fail to Attend Court. As a result, the Police arrested 55-year-old Belleville, Ontario male, Dwayne Redcliffe, on the strength of the warrants and transported him to the Belleville Police Service. He was later released with a court date of August 18th, 2022.

Arrested on Warrant

On the 13th of July, 2022, the Belleville Police Service investigated a voyeurism incident that occurred in a retail business in the north end of the city. A joint investigation with Quinte West OPP resulted in Darren Babineau from Quinte West being arrested and charged with Voyeurism, Criminal harassment, fail to comply with a Release order and fail to comply with an undertaking. Babineau was held for a bail hearing on the 28th of July, 2022.  

Arrested on Warrants

On the 28th of July 2022 at 12:05 a.m. The Belleville Police Service took custody of 44-year-old Edward Pond from the Durham Regional Police Service. Pond, who was wanted for Failing to Attend court, was transported to the Belleville Police Service, where he is being held for a bail hearing on the 28th of July, 2022.
