Driver identified
Belleville Ontario- On 26 July 2020, at 10:05pm, police were called to a disturbance at an east end address. During the investigation, police learned that two of the involved parties were involved in a crash the night before where the driver and passenger had fled after striking a hydro pole. Police identified the driver, a 22-year-old Amherstview male, and he was charged with failing to report an accident.
Mischief to business
Belleville Ontario- On 22 July 2020, at 2:40am, police were called to Canadian Tire on Bell Boulevard regarding a male and female within a fenced area on the property. Police located the male, and removed him from the property. The video footage of the property was later reviewed, and the same male was observed causing damage to the business to enter the fenced area. The male was recognized by police as 42-year-old Paul Laroche-Davidson of Belleville. Laroche-Davidson was located by police on 25 July 2020 and arrested. He was later released with a September 10 court date to answer to charges of mischief and two counts of breach of probation.
