The Belleville Police Service responded to 86 calls from the 14th of July 2021 at 5:00 a.m. until the 15th of July 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville ON- On 14 July 2021 at 3:00 p.m. officer responded to a three-car crash near the intersection of North Front St and Valleyview Cres.  Traffic was snarled in the area for about an hour as the scene was investigated.  One person was transported to hospital with minor injuries.  One of the drivers involved was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.  Two vehicles were towed from the scene.

Theft from Front Door

Belleville ON-  Belleville Police are reminding homeowners to take precautions to safeguard packages that are delivered to homes and left at the front door.  On the 14th of July an east end resident had a package stolen.  These reports are received by police almost every day, with many of packages being reported as valuable.

Disturbance

Belleville ON- On 14 July 2021 at about 9:15 p.m., police attended on Bridge St. E. on the report of a male acting disorderly.  Investigation revealed a male had been yelling and swearing at people near a store.  The suspect was located nearby and was arrested.  Dwayne Redcliffe (54yrs) of Belleville has a court date in September for “Causing a Disturbance”.
