Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 86 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 11th of July, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 12th of July, 2022.

Serious Motor Vehicle Collision

On the 12th of July, 2022 at 12:35 am Belleville Police responded to a serious two-vehicle head-on collision on Moira Street West Belleville, Ontario, between Marshall Road and Wallbridge Loyalist Road Belleville, Ontario. Belleville Fire, as well as Hastings/Prince Edward Emergency Medical Services, also attended the scene. Three individuals were required to be extracted from two different vehicles. The three persons, one male and two females, were taken to Belleville General Hospital and then transferred to Kingston General Hospital with critical injuries. Moira Street West remained closed for several hours and re-opened at 7:35 am. The motor vehicle collision continues to be investigated by the Belleville Police Service Uniform Patrol and Belleville Police Service Traffic Management Unit.
