Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 73 calls for service from 5:00 am on the 24th of February, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 25th of February, 2022.

Theft of Catalytic Converters

Belleville, ON – On February 24th, 2022 at 9:20am, city police attended a business on Parks Drive in the north end of the city in regards to a theft of catalytic converters.  The investigation revealed that suspect(s) removed two catalytic converters off of two company vehicles that were parked in the company lot.  No suspects have been identified at this time. 

Many communities in the province including Belleville are experiencing numerous thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles.  Belleville Police are requesting anyone with information regarding the above incident or any other thefts of catalytic converters to contact Detective Hatfield of the Belleville Police Service, Criminal Investigative Division at 613-966-0882 ext.4159

Breach of Court Order

Belleville, ON – On February 24th, 2022 at 12:24pm, Belleville Police officers attended a location on Wallbridge Crescent in regards to a male wanted by police.  Officers located the accused, a 37-year-old Belleville man and placed him under arrest for Breaching a Court Order.  The accused was transported to the Belleville Police Service and held for a Show Cause Hearing scheduled for this morning, February 25th, at 11:00am.
