The Belleville Police Service responded to 54 calls for service from February 17th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to February 18th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, ON – On the 17th of February 2021, shortly before 6:00 a.m., officers responded to a 2-vehicle collision in the area of Yeomans St. and Bridge St. West, one of the vehicles was a snow plow.  No injuries were reported to police, though of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Through the investigation, it was determined that the at-fault driver made an improper left turn.  As a-result a 23-year-old Belleville man was charged.  Anyone who may have witness the collision is asked to call Cst. City Police report a fairly steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on February 18th, 2021.  Police responded to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included noise complaints, disturbances, domestics disputes, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, and calls to assist ambulance.
