Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 61 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 16th of February, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 17th of February, 2022.

Theft Catalytic Converters

On the 16th of February, 2022 at 9:44 am Bellville Police attended a business on Lahr Drive Belleville, Ontario for reports of stolen catalytic converters. It was determined that sometime between the 14th of February, 2022 and the 15th of February, 2022 unknown persons attended the business and removed two catalytic converters from vehicles. There are no suspects at this time and the incident continues to be investigated. Police are asking anyone with information in relation to this or any other catalytic converter thefts in the city of Belleville to contact Detective Constable Darrell Hatfield at 613-966-0882 or email at dhatfield@bellevilleps.ca

Motor Vehicle Collisions

The Belleville Police service has taken reports of three motor vehicle collisions over the past twenty-four hours. The collisions were all minor and no injuries were reported. Belleville Police remind drivers due to the upcoming weather advisory to drive with caution.
