Breach of Undertaking

On the 14^th of February, 2022 at 9:21 am Belleville Police attended an address on Dundas Street West Belleville, Ontario in response to a breach of an undertaking. The victim of a prior Domestic complaint called in to advise that the suspect was in contact with her despite a non-communication condition. As a result, a thirty-four-year old male Belleville, Ontario resident was arrested and charged with one count of breach of an undertaking. He was released on another undertaking with a court date of the 21^st of April 2022. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim. 

Domestic Assault

On the 14^th of February, 2022 at 3:07 pm Belleville Police attended an address on Grier Street Belleville, Ontario in regards to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival police received information from the victim that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. She received a small cut on her head that did not require medical treatment. A twenty-three-year-old Belleville, Ontario male was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Assault and released on an undertaking with a court date of the 21^st of April, 2022. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
