Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 73 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 10th of February, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 11th of February, 2022.

Arrested on Warrants

Belleville, ON – On February 10th, 2022 at 11:30am, the Belleville Police were called to the area of Front St. and Bridge St. in the downtown area regarding a male suspect who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for several bail violations. 

Police located the 23-year-old Belleville man and took him into custody without incident.  The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court this morning, February 11th, at 11:00am. 

Domestic Assault

Belleville, ON – On February 10th, 2022 at 5:05pm, the Belleville Police responded to the area of Front St. and Bridge St. E. in regards to a complaint of a woman being assaulted by a man in front of a business.  A police investigation led officers a short distance away from the scene, where they located the male suspect and took him into custody without incident.

The 36-year-old Belleville man was charged with one count of domestic assault against a 42-year-old woman.  The victim did not suffer any serious injuries and did not require any medical attention.  The accused was held for a bail hearing and will appear in court this morning, February 11th, at 11:00am.

Break & Enter

Belleville, ON – On February 10th, 2022 at 8:00am Belleville Police attended a business on Front St. in regards to an overnight break and enter.  Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by smashing out the glass window of the front door. An unconfirmed amount of merchandise was taken from the business and police are continuing their investigation.

• Red white and black shoes

• Black back pack

• Dark green jacket fur hood (hood up)

• White leggings
