Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 78 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 31^st of January, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 1^st of February, 2022

Break, Enter and Theft

On the 31^st of January, 2022 at 9:30 pm Belleville Police Service attended a Dundas Street East Belleville, Ontario business regarding an insecure building. Attending Officers and the K-9 Unit cleared the building and no one was located inside. Further investigation revealed that six Apple I-Pads and one Apple I-Phone were taken from the building. The Belleville Police Service Forensics Identification Unit attended and analysed the scene. Disturbance

On the 31^st of January, 2022 Belleville Police Service attended near the shore of the Bay of Quinte at about 8:00 pm for the report of a women screaming.  Police located a pair of belligerent intoxicated people. A thirty-three-year-old female and a thirty-three-year old male of no fixed address were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. Both were transported to the Belleville Police Service and held until sober enough to care for themselves .

Motor Vehicle Collisions

The Belleville Police Service attended four Motor Vehicle Collisions in the last twenty-four hours. All were minor property damage only with no injuries.
