ARRESTED ON WARRANTS

On the 7th of December 2021 at 8:00 p.m. a thirty-three-year-old Belleville, Ontario resident Ian Beauchamp attended the Belleville Police Service to turn himself in on three outstanding warrants for Fail to Attend Court. Beauchamp was held for a show cause hearing on the 8th of December, 2021.

THREE VEHICLE COLLISION

On the 7th of December, 2021 at approximately 5:20 p.m. Police responded to a three-vehicle collision on North Front Street, just South of Bell Blvd. Significant damage occurred to the involved vehicles yet there were no injuries reported. The driver of the at fault vehicle was charged with Fail to Yield from Private Drive, under the Highway Traffic Act, and was issued a Provincial Offences Notice.

STEADY 24-HOUR PERIOD

Belleville Police Service had a steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on December 8th 2021.  Police responded to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance. Several minor motor vehicle collisions were also referred to the Collision Reporting Center located at the Belleville Police
