Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 108 calls for service beginning at 5:00 am on the 12th of December, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 13th of December, 2022.

Break and enter

On 12 December. 2022, at 10:30am, police received a call regarding a break and enter to a food truck located on Front Street. Police were advised that the break in occurred overnight the night prior, and there was video footage of the three suspects. The suspects also left the area in a grey sedan. If anyone has information or can identify the involved suspects, they are asked to contact Cst Ben Walden at bwalden@bellevilleps.ca.

Breach of conditions

On 13 December, 2022, at 4:50am, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Everett Street. Police identified the driver, a 45-year-old Prince Edward County male, who was currently on conditions to obey a curfew stemming from theft and possession of stolen property charges. The male was arrested, and he was brought to the Belleville Police Service for a bail hearing on 13 December 2022.
