Stolen Bike
Belleville, ON - On December 9, 2021 at 4:09 pm Police attended Doug’s bicycle regarding a stolen bike. Complainant advised that a male attended and asked to take a $9000 mountain bike for a test ride. The male offered his wallet as collateral that was later discovered not to be the suspects. The suspect was observed leaving in a newer model, white Chevy Silverado pick-up truck. Anyone with information askes to contact Cst. Attempted Theft
Belleville ON – On the 9th of December 2021, police responded to a business on Parks Drive. The complainant had discovered damage to a vehicle that had ben parked in the lot overnight. Review of video surveillance shows an attempted theft of the vehicles catalytic converter. Video further shows that over night on the 8th of December a male driving a Black Chevrolet Cruze entered the lot of the business at approximately 11:45pm on the 8th. The vehicle is further noted as having a steel rim on the front driver side and a hubcap on the rear drivers side. The suspect, wearing brown bibbed overalls, tries unsuccessfully for 10minutes to remove the catalytic converter, then leaves the area in the Chevy Cruze.
