Arrested on Warrants
Belleville, ON – On August 3rd 2021 at 11:40 p.m. Police received a 911 call regarding a disturbance in the west end of the city. Officers arrived on scene and located 38-year-old Adam Chard of no fixed address, who was wanted on warrants. The male was arrested and transported to Belleville Police Service. Mr. Chard was released on a Form 10 Undertaking and provided a court date of Sept 2nd 2021 at Quinte Consolidated Court.
Motor Vehicle Collision
Belleville, ON – On August 3rd 2021 at 9:20 p.m. Police responded to a three-vehicle motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Pinnacle St. and Moira St. East. Emergency Medical Services did attend however, there were no injuries reported as a result of the collision. The investigation is on going and anyone with information is asked to contact Cst. City Police also report a fairly steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on August 4th 2021. Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance. Police also responded to 18 accidental 911 calls over the 24-hour period.
