The Belleville Police Service responded to 63 calls from August 25th 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to August 26th 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Correction:
On Wednesday, August 25th, 2021, at 11:50 a.m., Belleville Fire and Belleville Police attended the area of Frankford Road, East of Hwy 62, on a report that a transport had pulled wires down. Once on-scene, officers learned that hydro lines were down and a large power outage occurred during the day, affecting more than 2000 people. City police assisted in shutting down the roadway so Hydro One crews could repair the damage.
Police and Fire did not re-attend later that night.
Break & Enter
Belleville ON- On 25 August 2021 at 4:15 p.m. officers attended an address on Emily St where it was reported an apartment had been broken in to. Various items including a video game system were taken. The investigation remains on-going. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Const FRAZER at (613) 966-0882 ext 4221.

Traffic Enforcement
Belleville ON- On 25 August 2021 at 11:20 a.m. an officer on patrol spotted a male party operating a vehicle near Front St. His drivers licence was known to be under suspension. The vehicle was stopped and a 23 yr old man from Tyendinaga Township was issued a summons for traffic court for driving under suspension.
