Break and Enter
Belleville ON: On 10 Aug 2020 at 3:00 p.m. officers received a call about a break and enter in progress at an address on Victoria Av. A person checking on the residence noticed that there was an insecure door. The neighbours assisted the person in watching the residence until police arrived. The male suspect was caught by police attempting to exit the residence through a basement window. Michael Bird, a 34 yr old male from Belleville was charged with the following: break and Enter with intent, mischief under five thousand dollars, possession of break in tools, fail to comply with probation times two, and possession of heroin. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of September 3 2020.
Dangerous Condition
Belleville ON: On 10 Aug 2020 at 7:54 a.m. police attended on River Rd. South of Greenfield Park Rd. Police received a report of a tree falling on some power lines. Upon arrival officers re directed traffic and Hydro was called. There were no injuries or property damage.
Breach of Undertaking
Belleville ON: On the 28th of April 2020 Amber Carey, a 35 yr. old female Belleville resident was arrested for and charged with a number of trafficking in narcotics charges. She was released on conditions to not communicate with her co-accused. On the 10th of August 2020 at 2:30 p.m. the female was observed communicating with her co-accused and was arrested. She was charged with breaching a release condition. She was released on an undertaking with a court date of 03 Sept 2020.
At the same time a 35 yr old Belleville male was arrested and charged for breaching his release conditions, by a Justice of the Peace, by communicating with Amber Carey. He was held for a bail hearing on 11 Aug 2020 .
