Warrant Arrests
Belleville ON-On April 5th 2021, at 2:30 p.m. a Belleville Police officer conducted a vehicle stop in area of Baldwin Street. A passenger within the vehicle was identified as having an outstanding bench warrant. 35-year-old Steven Sullivan of Belleville was held in custody for a bail hearing on the 6th of April 2021.
Belleville ON-On April 5th 2021, at 7:00 p.m. a Belleville Police officer observed a male in the area of College Street East who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. 27-year-old Johnathon Harford of Carrying Place was arrested on the strength of the warrant for failing to comply with a court release condition. He was later released with a May 6th court date.
Strange Behavior Leads to Arrest
Belleville ON-On April 5th 2021 at 530 p.m. Belleville Police were called to an East end street regarding a male who was acting in a strange manner. Upon arrival the male was located lying in a ditch next to the roadway and was under the influence of drugs. The male was found to be on a number of probation conditions, two of which he was breaching. A small quantity of an illegal drug was also located on the male. As a result, the 41-year-old Belleville resident was arrested and held for a bail hearing on the 6th April 2021.
Intoxicated Female
Belleville ON-On April 5th 2021 at 930 p.m., Belleville Police were called to rear parking lot of a plaza in the west end regarding a female who had been found passed out on the ground. Attending officers determined that she was heavily intoxicated by alcohol and was arrested for her own protection. A 28-year-old Frankford resident was charged with public intoxication and she was held until she was deemed sober enough to care for herself.
Vehicle Stop leads to Drugs and Weapons Charges
Belleville ON-On April 6th 2021 at 1:00 a.m. a Belleville Police officer on patrol stopped a vehicle in the east end of the city whose driver was known to be suspended. Further investigation led to the discovery of a quantity of illegal drugs, cash and trafficking items. Also located was a cannister of bear mace and a replica handgun. As a result of the stop, a 33-year-old Kingston resident and 35-year-old Belleville resident were charged with 2 counts of trafficking in illegal drugs, proceeds of crime, 3 counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The 33-year-old is additionally charged with 2 counts of breaching her probation and the 35-year-old is additionally charged with driving while suspended. Both are being held for a bail hearing on the 6th of April 2021.
