The Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service between April 4th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m. and April 5th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m.


Belleville, ON - On the 4th of April 2020 at 6:30 p.m. officers attended a 3 vehicle accident at the intersection of Pinnacle and Victoria. Officers received information that there was a line of cars Northbound on Pinnacle St. They were stopping for a vehicle turning left on Victoria St. One of the vehicles did not stop and struck a second vehicle. The second vehicle then struck the third vehicle. A Picton area male in his 40’s who was driving the car that did not stop in time and was charged with following to close. He was issued a Provincial Offence Notice.

Breach of Undertaking

Belleville, ON – On the 4th of April 2020 at 11:45 p.m. officers were on Pine St investigating a vehicle with the wrong plates. A male was observed exiting a house near the vehicle. An officer recognized the male who was on release conditions and completed a record check. As a result, officers learned that the male was on an Undertaking and on Probation. Cole Robinson, a 27-year-old male from Belleville was arrested and charged with 2 counts of breach of release conditions, and one count of breach of probation. He was released on an officer in charge undertaking with a court date of the 11th of June 2020.
