The Belleville Police Service responded to 52 calls for service from April 3rd, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to April 4th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Arrest for Breach of the Peace
Belleville, ON – On the 3rd of April 2021 at 2:15 p.m. Police responded to the area of College Street East and Herman Street regarding a male acting out. Police arrived in the area and conducted an investigation that revealed the involved male was acting violent and threatening others. Police arrested the 24-year-old Belleville male to prevent any further Breach of the Peace. The male was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was later released unconditionally.
City Police also report a fairly steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on April 4th 2021. Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance.
