Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 76 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 28th of April, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 29th of April, 2022.

Liquor Licence Act

On the 29th of April, 2022 Belleville Police officers were called to the area of Burton Street Belleville, Ontario for a report of a female in need of assistance. The attending Officer’s quickly located the female, who was intoxicated. The 28-year-old female Belleville, Ontario resident, was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. She was taken to the Belleville Police Service, where she was held until deemed to be able to care for herself.

Warrants

On the 28th of April 2022, Belleville Police officers attended an east end location for a report of a male requiring medical assistance from a possible drug overdose. The male was treated by paramedics and taken to Belleville General Hospital. While at the scene, officers recognized another male, who was wanted on multiple warrants by Belleville Police Service for Failing to Attend Court, Failing to Comply with a Probation Order, Failing to comply with a release Order, Theft Under and Prowl by night. The 35-year-old Belleville, Ontario resident Gordon Green was arrested and held for a bail hearing on the 22nd of April 2022.
