Bail Violation
Belleville, ON – On April 19th 2021 at 9:26 a.m., police executed an arrest warrant on a female who was wanted for failing to attend court. Angela Evelyn Elizabeth Nolan, 30 years old of Belleville, was arrested and taken into custody on Bridge Street West. Nolan was released a short time later on a Form 10 undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on May 20th in relation to the charge.
Disturbance Call Leads to Arrest
Belleville, ON – On April 19th 2021 at 6:32 p.m., police were called to a Coleman Street address for a minor disturbance. The initial investigation resulted in the disturbance call being cleared without incident, however an involved man was arrested and taken into custody from an earlier occurrence. Police charged Tyson Anthony Nicholas Gordon, a 31-year old man from Marmora Ontario, with the offence of taking a motor vehicle without consent. Gordon was released from custody on a Form 10 undertaking with conditions, and is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on May 20th.
Domestic Lands Man in Jail
Belleville, ON – On April 19th 2021 at 9:20 p.m., police were called to a home in the north-west portion of the city regarding an assault. Further investigation led police to arrest a man in the home. He was taken into custody, and is being held for a show-cause hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice on April 20th 2021. The 32-year old city man is facing charges including two counts of assault, mischief – under five thousand dollars, and criminal harassment. Police are not releasing the name of the man in order to protect the identity of the victim. The victim was treated at Belleville Hospital for facial cuts and released.
