Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 73 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 11th of April, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 12th of April, 2022.

Breach of release order

Belleville, ON- On 11 April, 2022, at 1:00pm, police responded to a disturbance on Elgin Street. Police were advised that the complainant was assaulted in a residence. Upon arrival, the suspect had fled the area; however, he was located nearby. Police identified the suspect, a 17-year-old Belleville male, who was on conditions from previous charges not to be out of his residence and to keep the peace. The male was arrested and held for a bail hearing on 12 April 2022.

Fail to remain

Belleville ON- On 11 April, 2022, at 9:55pm, police received a call to Wallbridge Loyalist Road regarding a motor vehicle collision. Police were called after an erratic driver had left the roadway and struck a pole. The male fled the area prior to police arrival. Police conducted an extensive search of the area with the K9 Unit as well as the Traffic Safety Unity with the use of a drone. The male was eventually located by officers at 4:00am on Wallbridge Loyalist Road. He was arrested; however, later released without charges at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
