Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 80 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 20th of July, 2022, to 5:00 am on the 21st of July, 2022.

Warrants

On July 20th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Belleville Emergency Medical Services and Belleville Police interacted with a female in the city’s east end.  After the female was identified, it was found that the female was wanted on two Belleville Police Service warrants for Fail to Comply with a release order and Fail to Re-attend court. As a result, 43-year-old Belleville, Ontario resident Louise Hall was arrested and held for a show cause hearing on the 21st of July, 2022.

Break and Enter

On the 20th of July, 2022, at 11:37 am, Belleville Police took a report of a break and enter to a business in the area of Baybridge Road, Belleville, Ontario. Domestic Assault and Fail to comply

On the 20th of July 2022, at 9:30 p.m. Belleville Police were called to a residence on Union Street, Belleville, Ontario, regarding a complaint of a female being assaulted by her ex-husband. Police attended, and investigation revealed that the male suspect was currently on conditions not to have communication with the female victim and that he was not to be at that location. As a result, the 40-year-old Belleville, Ontario male was arrested for two counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Domestic Assault. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was later released with a court date of the 22nd of August 2022. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
