Suspended Drivers
On March 23, 2023 at about 3pm an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle on Dundas St. E. and discovered the driver was under suspension. A 32yr old male from Carrying Place has a traffic court date in May.
On March 24, 2023 at about 2:30am a patrol sergeant stopped a vehicle in the city’s west end and discovered the driver was under suspension. A 36yr old male from Belleville has a traffic court date in May.
Assault and Breach of Probation
Belleville Police were called to Quinte Health Care – Belleville General Hospital on March 24, 2023 at about 3am to assist security with a disorderly female.
A 39yr old Belleville woman was not in medical distress and was refusing to leave the hospital. This was the 4th time in a week that police had been call to the hospital to assist with removing this same woman.
Prior to police arriving this morning, the woman spit on the security officer’s face.
The female was arrested at the hospital and held for a bail hearing this morning, charged with assault and breach of probation.
