Fail to Comply
On June 18, 2026, at 1:23 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a report of theft at a business on Dundas Street West. An employee reported observing a male pick up merchandise and attempt to leave without making any effort to pay.
When the employee confronted the suspect and took back the merchandise, he became verbally aggressive and lunged toward her to grab the merchandise.
During the investigation, officers learned the male was bound by multiple probation orders. As a result, a 26-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was located, arrested, and charged with:
- Failure to comply with a probation order X3
He was held for a bail hearing.
Break and Enter Investigation
On June 18, 2026, at 3:11 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a building in the city’s east end.
Members of the Belleville Police Emergency Response Unit and K9 Unit attended and conducted a search of the premises. Officers located three youths inside the building and detained them while the investigation was carried out.
Following the investigation, all three youths were released unconditionally.
