Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 122 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on April 15, 2026 to 5:00 am on April 16, 2026.
Mischief
On April 15th at 7:21am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute. It was reported that a verbal argument escalated and a male punched a hole in a wall.
As a result of investigation, a 47-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:
- Mischief under $5000
- Fail to comply with probation order X2
He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court day in May.
Warrants
On April 15th at 11:59am, Belleville Police responded to a suspicious incident at a business in the city’s north end. Officers investigated the incident and subsequently located a male and a female hiding inside the business. It was determined that both individuals had outstanding Belleville Police Service arrest warrants.
As a result of investigation, a 24-year-old Belleville woman with no fixed address was arrested on the strength of the arrest warrants and held for a bail hearing.
A 44-year-old Belleville male was also arrested on the strength of the arrest warrants and charged additionally with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Opioid
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
He was held for a bail hearing.
