The commemoration is located in a popular room within the Belleville Police Service utilized by patrol members, which is now known as The Padre Brad Beale Wellness Room. Padre Beale was commemorated in the plaque “in recognition of his outstanding dedication and unwavering commitment to the health and wellbeing” of Belleville Police Service members.

Former Belleville Police Chief Michael Callaghan is pictured in front of a plaque in the front lobby of the police station, which was unveiled Thursday in his honor. From left is Callaghan, Deputy Chief Sheri Meeks, recently retired Deputy Chief Chris Barry and Belleville Police Service Chief Murray Rodd. The plaque was unveiled to honor Callaghan’s commitment to managing the building of the new police station and transitioning the service to the new site, which is located at 459 Sidney Street.
