Missing person located
Following a lengthy investigation by members of the Belleville Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division, police have located Rebecca Campbell. Rebecca had travelled out of the Quinte area. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
Mischief
On the 18th of March at 5:44am, Belleville Police attended an address on Station St regarding a mischief. Police learned that unknown persons threw rocks through the front and back windows of the building. The incident occurred sometime over night on the 17th of March. Domestic dispute leads to multiple charges
On the 18th of March at 8:43pm, police were called to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute in progress. The involved male had departed the residence prior to police arrival. Police spoke to the involved female and learned that she had been struck in the face with a phone charger, spat on and physically assaulted numerous times by her partner. Police searched the area and located the male nearby. As a result of the information received and the subsequent investigation, police arrested and charged a 31-year-old Belleville man with three counts of assault, one count of assault with a weapon and one count of breach of probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
