Intimate Partner Violence
On June 4th at 5:33 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute. It was reported that one female threatened another before initiating a physical altercation, attempting to kick and punch the victim.
As a result of investigation, a 34-year-old Ganonoque woman, was arrested and charged with:
- Assault – spousal
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – spousal
- Fail to comply with probation order
She was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in July.
