On July 23^rd at approximately 12:20am, Belleville Police responded to a call in the city’s north end regarding an unwanted person. The homeowner had reported a male on the property carrying a gas can and covering up property cameras. Upon arrival, police located the male asleep on the property. Further investigation revealed he had outstanding warrants by both the Belleville Police and Quinte West OPP, including a committal warrant to be taken into custody for outstanding charges. As a result, he was arrested, and his warrants were executed.
