Belleville Police were busy enforcing the Highway Traffic Act throughout the city during the previous 24 hours.  In addition to several motor vehicle collisions which were investigated by police, officers initiated 15 traffic stops for a variety of Highway Traffic Act violations.  Officers issued numerous Provincial Offences, many of which were for speeding. 

A 40-year-old female from Belleville was also charged with driving while suspended.  She was issued a summons for Provincial Offences court in October.
